WORD

           

As servants of God, we are to lead a life of active faith.

 

 

ORDER

 

“Guard this rich trust with the help of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.”  (2 Tim 9:14)

 

 

Prophecies

 

1.         Have faith in Me and believe that the One who made the promise is trustworthy.

2.         Remain faithful to My Word and I will save you.

 

Directions

 

1.         Be an instrument of peace, love and unity at home, at work and in community. .

2.         When encountering difficulties in serving in Community, pray persistently; have faith that our Lord will help see us through. 

 

THEMES AND PROMISES

 

 

Week#1 (27th Sunday in Ordinary Time)                [Servanthood]

 

Theme:          We lead a life of active faith when we serve without expecting any reward.

 

Promise:       “…the just one, because of his faith, shall live” (Habakkuk 2:4b)

 

Week#2 (28th Sunday in Ordinary Time)                            [Gratitude]

 

Theme:          We lead a life of active faith when we thank the Father at all times.

 

Promise:       “…Your faith has saved you.”  (Luke 17:19)

                       

 

Week #3 (29th Sunday in Ordinary Time)                           [Persistence]

 

Theme:          We lead a life of active faith when we persist in prayer and are faithful to the Word of God.

 

Promise:       “The Lord will guard your coming and your going, both now and forever.”  (Psalm 121:8)

 

                       

Week #4 (30h Sunday in Ordinary Time)                            [Humility]

 

Theme:          We lead a life of active faith when we acknowledge that we are sinners in need of God’s mercy.

 

Promise:       “The Lord redeems the lives of his servants; no one incurs guilt who takes refuge in him.”  (Psalm 34:23)
