WORD

           

As a Community, we are called to be one flock under Jesus, the Good Shepherd

           

ORDER

 

“I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold.  These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.”  (Jn 10:16)

           

           

Prophecies

 

  1. Trust not in your own wisdom but listen to my voice always.
  2. I do keep watch over you, fear not, keep going for I am with you.  Go into the world as my under shepherds to look after one flock.
  3. Take care of my flock, be reminded of their needs.  Show them the way to my sheepfold.  Bind the wounds of my people I entrusted to you.
  4. I will bless you, my children, if you learn to lay down your life for one another.  Love one another.



Directions

 

  1. Pray and fast to discern the right shepherds for your district/ community.
  2. Exhort our members to do more listening to the Lord than talking. Let us listen and hear His voice so that there will be one flock; focused on the true shepherd, Jesus Christ.
  3. Asses the effectiveness of BLD’s Pastoral Care at various levels of shepherding – shepherding of Encounter classes, LSS shepherding, circle shepherding in ministries and homesteads.  Observe WSC properly every week in all ministries and apostolates.

THEMES AND PROMISES

 

 

Week#1 (4th Sunday of Easter)

 

Theme:          We are one flock when we gather and care for others more than ourselves.

 

Promise:       “”They will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.  (Jn 10:16b)

 

 

Week#2 (5th Sunday of Easter)

 

Theme:          We are one flock when we cling to Jesus, the True Vine, without whom we can do nothing.

 

Promise:       “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.” (Jn 15:7)

 

 

Week #3 (6th Sunday of Easter)

 

Theme:          We are one flock when we love one another as Jesus loves us.

                                   

Promise:       “If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love…I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy might be complete. (Jn 15:10a, 11)

 

 

Week #4 (Solemnity of our Lord’s Ascension)

 

Theme:          We are one flock when we believe and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus.

 

Promise:       “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mk 16:16)
